Devil Twins Guide: Tips & Tricks for Dummies

Welcome to the dummies guide on how to get stronger in Devil Twins. Here are some tips and tricks on how to progress further into the game, increasing your devil’s stats and leveling your devils fast in the game.

Get to stage 30

After you have finished the tutorial, your main goal is to reach level 30. This is because you will get to unlock Labour Dungeon in the World Map. Once you have reached stage 30, make sure to lock the stage. You can do so by tapping on the lock icon beside the boss icon (When the lock indicates ‘ON’ it means the stage is being locked). The Labour Dungeon works the same way as the normal stage. You will obtain more Soul Orbs than the normal stages but you can obtain up to 150 Diamonds per day.

Defeating a boss of any stage will drop either Soul stones of the Hell Boy or Yawn Girl which can be used to evolve both of them. Make sure to evolve them once they have the required amount (Main Menu->Upgrade->Evolve). There is also a chance of a flying treasure chest to spawn so tap the treasure for free Soul orbs, Diamonds, and buffs.

Prioritize your upgrades

Prioritizing which upgrade to spend on will be crucial as you progress in this game. Here are the upgrades that you can spend on to boost your devil’s stats:

  • Hell Boy & Yawn Girl – Level Up -> Increases Attack (Highly recommended to upgrade 1st)
  • Hell Boy & Yawn Girl – Raise SPD -> Increases Attack Speed (Highly recommended to max once you have enough Soul Orbs since SPD stat is one of the most crucial stats against bosses)
  • Raise CRI -> Increases CRI Chance (Upgrade to max once your Raise SPD skill is maxed)

Your first task is to upgrade both Hell Boy and Yawn Girl to level 100. After that, max the Raise SPD upgrade. I usually do not upgrade their skills yet because it is not worth the investment during the early stages of the game since skills cost MP. You can also spend your Soul Orbs for Common Upgrades but do so only if you have spare Soul Orbs.

  • Increase Max MP -> Increases Max MP
  • Increase MP Regeneration -> You regenerate more MP over time
  • Treasure Chest Appearance -> Treasure chests appear more often
  • Increase CRI Damage -> Increases CRI Damage
  • Demon Training -> Increases Demons’ Attack

As for Ultimate power-up upgrades and Special upgrades, you can upgrade them once you progress later into the game where you can obtain all the currencies in the game.

  • Hell Boy’s Ultimate power-up -> Increases Hell Boy’s total damage
  • Yawn Girl’s Ultimate power-up -> Increases Yawn Girl’s total damage
  • Demon’s Ultimate power-up -> Increases all demon’s total damage
  • Dragon Hunter -> Increase damage against World Bosses
  • God of duel -> The amount of damage wielded by a duel reduces
  • Upgrade Dragon -> Increases dragon damage for World Boss and Duel
  • Hell Armor -> Reduces enemy’s dragon damage
  • Hero Bonus -> Increased ranking compensation

Summon Demons and equip them

If you currently have more than 400 Diamonds, summon 4 demons and equip them. If you have more than 4 demons, equip the ones that increase ATK and SPD (You can only equip up to 4 demons). You can also Enchant them using Devil Upgrade Tickets to increase its level or evolve them through ‘Evolution’. But for now, do not Enchant or evolve any of the demons yet.

Collect Soul Orbs from the Labour

The Labour is where each demon will produce Soul Orbs for you to collect. Once a demon finish producing the Soul Orbs, you can tap on the chest and the Soul Orbs will be put in a safe where you can collect by tapping the ‘Withdraw’ button. One thing to take note of is that your safe can only obtain a maximum number of Soul Orbs and you can expand the safe to increase the maximum number of Soul Orbs the safe can obtain. I would say that upgrading your Safe to level 10 is a very good option. You can also Auto Labour your demons if you want so that the Soul Orbs that they finish producing will go automatically to the safe (Costs 100 Diamonds per Auto Labour).

Use the Dive Mode

I highly recommend to always use the Dive Mode. It is basically an idle feature which will automatically keep track of how much Soul Orbs you obtained along with other items + currencies. To go to Dive Mode, go to your settings then tap Dive. Once done, you can leave your phone and do other things for the next 7 hours until you have collected like about 420k Soul Orbs. This is where you can upgrade both Hell Boy and Yawn Girl to level 100 and max the SPD upgrade.

Get to stage 50

Once done, unlock stage 30 and proceed on to stage 50. Once you have reached stage 50, make sure to lock the stage. By then, both Hell Boy and Yawn Girl will have evolved twice already. This is where you get to unlock the World Boss. From the Dragon Shop, you can Hatch Dragons which are a better version of the usual demons but they require Dragon Scales. You can purchase them using Diamonds from the Store (Main Menu->Store). Keep hatching dragons until you have both the red dragon (Increases ATK) and the green dragon (Increases SPD) and equip them both. This is where you can use your Devil Upgrade Tickets to Enchant the green dragon until +100.

After that, enter the Labour Dungeon once more and go to Dive Mode where your next target is to level both Hell Boy and Yawn Girl to level 200 which requires about 760k Soul Orbs (About 10 hours). Once you are done, exit the Labour Dungeon and grind stage 50 over and over again. This is where you can farm Diamonds quickly (About 210-270 Diamonds per hour).

Costumes

When you have obtained about 3k Diamonds, this is where you can purchase costumes which give special bonuses to both your Devils other than changing the appearance of your Devils. To access the Costume menu, go to settings then go to Avatar. Keep scrolling until you find the ‘New Year Hanbok’ and purchase it. You will now obtain 50% more Soul Orbs which is pretty helpful for farming.

Treasures

After that, you can use your Diamonds, Dragon Scales or Duel Medals to summon Treasures which gives additional stat bonuses to all Devils. I suggest holding them until the Treasure from the Main Menu glows green. This is where you will have a 2x chance to obtain 6-7 star treasures. Make sure to upgrade treasures that is related to either ATK/CRI/SoulOrb stats. On a side note, make sure to purchase 450 flowers per day from the store (Costs 525 Diamonds).

Continue farming Soul Orbs and Diamonds using the Dive Mode option until you have 3.65 million Soul Orbs to upgrade Hell Boy and Yawn Girl to level 300 and max the CRI %/CRI damage and MP Regen upgrades.

Get to stage 75

Unlock stage 50 and move on to stage 75. Upon reaching stage 75, lock that stage. Continue farming Soul Orbs and max all the other upgrades. Once done, Congratulations! You have max out almost every upgrade in the game. You can unlock stage 75 and proceed on to stage 200 where the Infinite Tower will be unlocked. This is where you can purchase the Red Skull pet for 10k flowers (Increases Yawn Girl’s ATK and SPD + CRI damage) and the Ruby Golem for 10k flowers (Increases Hell Boy’s ATK and SPD + CRI damage). Make sure to equip them both once you are able to purchase them and Enchant them to +100.

Join a Guild

I suggest joining a Guild as soon as you can if you have not done so. Make sure to tap the ‘Attendance’ button for free diamonds and send Diamonds to the Guild daily. Here are some of the Guild features that you can do:

  • Guild Skill – You can upgrade different skills using Guild stones
  • Shop – You can purchase different demons and treasures
  • Guild Battle – You Guild can battle against other Guilds for rewards

Login daily for the daily rewards + complete achievements and event missions

Even if you do not play this game often, I would suggest to at least log in daily for the daily attendance rewards. Make sure to also complete the event missions and achievements as you will be rewarded with special items and Diamonds if you complete them.

If you are new to this game, you can download this game on either IOS or Android.
