Leading technology

And that’s just the beginning of the innovative technology showcased in the new range.

The new adjustable bed system has been designed with the world-first Flexicased™ support which has been specially developed for adjustable products and offers full perimeter support along with the ability to articulate so it can move with the adjustable bed.

Sealy’s R&D Manager, Daniel Green, confirms that the state-of-the-art technology that has gone into this range was developed in Sealy’s own research and development facility and underwent rigorous testing to ensure that it would comply with our strict requirements.

“To develop the world-leading technology, we went through brainstorming, design, prototyping and then extensive testing. Once the initial development was carried out, we worked closely with our Australian component manufacturer.”

The final, and most important, step in the inception of Flexicased™ was the rigorous testing, during which component performance, mattress edge feel and edge articulating durability were assessed to ensure that the technology is as robust as possible. After these tests were conducted in the labs, they were then verified through home testing.
