Internet Explorer is counted as one of the best web browsers for Windows platform, but it lacks lots of advanced features which other browsers like Chrome and Firefox have. To deal with this situation, the company decided to develop a modern web browser.

With the release of Windows 10, the company released its modern browser named as Microsoft Edge. The browser is developed as a replacement for Internet Explorer. With default settings, the Edge browser is the default web browser in Windows 10.

Microsoft Edge browser is much better and advanced if we compare it with Internet Explorer in many areas. It offers a fully optimized experience for touch users, neat and clean interface. Apart from this, it offers dark mode, extension support, device syncing settings, export-import password and favorites from other browser and much more.

According to survey conducting by Microsoft, it is safer, faster and offers you longer & better battery life in comparison to modern browsers available in the market. Overall it offers features that make web surfing smooth and optimized.

When Edge browser appears for the first time in Windows 10, there were not many fans of the browser due to lack of features and functionalities. But time is changed now, there are lots of users happily using Edge as the default browser in Windows 10, even I’m one out of them. As didn’t find a single reason for not using it.

Still, there are users who’re not satisfied with Edge browser and would like to get rid of it completely.
