How to create a simple Primavera P6 professional Report?
In this section, I have explained how to create and run Primavera P6 Professional report. This report will list all the critical activities in a project.
Create a Primavera P6 Professional Report
1. Log in to Primavera P6 Professional
2. Go to Tools >> Reports & Select Reports
3. The Report wizard appears on the screen. Right click on any of the Group & Select RUN
Hint: Primavera already contains many pre – generated reports. We can run it by simply right click & Run it.
4. Toggle on the New Report & Click on the button Next
5. Select the SUBJECT AREA you want. The next wizard will display the list of fields based on the Subject Area you selected here. Here I selected Activities so the next wizard will display the Activity fields
6. Select the associated Subject Area here.
7. Select the Columns button and select the fields you want to display in the Report
8. Select Group & Sort and customize the Group By columns
9. Click on the Filter button, create a Filter you want and Click Ok. Here, I have created a filter Critical = Yes, so the report will display only critical activities
10. Click on the button Next
11. Input a Title
12. Click Next
13. The report will save in the Group you have initiated the wizard
Run Primavera P6 Professional Report
1. Right click on the report and select Run >> Report
2. Select the delivery option & click Ok
3. The report generates and opens on the browser
Note: The report will run against the projects that you opened in P6 professional
