How to run SQL Tuning Advisor in SQL Developer

Required grants to run the SQL Advisor

• Login as SYSDBA and grant the below privileges to the user who is going to run the SQL ADVISOR

grant advisor to ;

grant administer sql tuning set to ;

Run SQL Tuning Advisor

• Open SQL Developer >> Write the SQL >> Right Click & Select

• The SQL Tuning Advisor will come to the bottom of the page. Click on each tab and review the SQL tuning advisor output
