For a long time, we who are somewhat left of center heard the Republican candidates spout that the Democrats were trying to start Class warfare.  Well, we don’t seem to hear that anymore since Mitt Romney opened his mouth about the “47%. (Forty-Seven Percent).”  Now there is a class to take aim at.  Why?  They have trouble shooting back!  This class has amongst its numbers the poor, disabled, children, the disenfranchised, the unemployed, and retirees living on Social Security and Medicare.  The Republican candidate says now he cares about all the people.  But on a video recording, he was a bit more candid.  He doesn’t care about them because they are least likely to vote, or vote for Obama.  My dear departed Mother said something to me once.  She said, “When a man is with his peers, he is most likely to speak the truth about himself that he wouldn’t say in mixed company.”  Mitt’s truth is he cares so much about winning the Presidency, that nothing and no one should stand in his way, least of all the least of us.  His rich friends want him to win.  For them, it is all about the money, and how much they get to keep.  They would have you think your freedoms are being trampled, because someone rich might have to cough up some extra taxes.  The reality from the GOP is that they would like nothing better than to trample your freedoms.  Your freedom, if you’re a woman, to choose what to do with your own body.  Your freedom to marry the person you choose, regardless of sex.  To be freed somewhat of the tyrannical rule of healthcare insurers.  They don’t like any of those things.  They want freedom of religion, but not the right to be free of their religion.

If you are part of the 47%, make sure you vote.  And since Mitt has written you off, vote for Obama.  At least he cares about all of us.  As the kids would say, true dat.
