KABUL, Afghanistan – An Afghan and coalition security force arrested a senior Taliban leader and three other extremists during an operation in Kandahar City, Kandahar Province, today. The leader is the ranking Taliban official for Panjwa’i district, Kandahar province. He oversees assassination and improvised explosive device attacks in the local area targeting Afghan and coalition forces.
