If you go back in my posts, you'll find a post entitled, The Tame Version!  It was written during the riots over the cartoons from the Danish cartoonist.  I made a joke about vetting people for stability before I'd let them see the original post.  Well; here we are, over six (6) years later, and we're dealing with the same idiocy.  So forget being polticially correct about this crap anymore.  Presented for your reading pleasure, the original February 6, 2006 post, hidden lo these many years in the bowels of my hard drive. 

 

We’re into about the fourth day of protest by Muslims from around the world. Even here in Gaza, there have been protests, and flags from Denmark, Norway and France have been desecrated. All of this because some obscure newspaper in Denmark decided that it was going to publish a cartoon featuring a drawing of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH, let me put that there so I don’t offend the sensibilities of my neighbors). Now the Islamic world is holding these Western nations responsible for the fact that they are free countries. Citizens from these countries have been threatened throughout the Islamic world!! Come on!!!! Does the concept of free societies not soak through their thick ghaffiya-wrapped skulls?! It is the beauty of a free, democratic society that any idiot can say, write or otherwise spout any idiot drivel he wants to without the government being able to infringe on his right so to do.

 

This useless sand pit has to be the only part of the world that people can be given a Vote and use that vote to elect people who immediately restrict the rights of the Common idiots that elected them. It only goes to prove, yet again, that no matter where you are in the world that the word ‘common’ when used in reference to the common man can be used interchangeably with the words ‘damn stupid’. 

 

So to you, Your Excellency, Madame Mona Attia, there is absolutely f***ing nothing that the Danish, Norwegian, or French governments should do to appease the Muslim world. If these countries apologize for the fact that they are free societies, then their own citizens should riot in the streets. The Muslim world needs to wake up to the fact that this is the 21^st Century and the rest of the world should be sick and tired of dealing with the crap pouring out of these piss-ant countries. AND, if any one of these little insignificant third world theocracies has so little control over their idiot citizenry that they allow any one of their citizens or group of citizens to harm a Western citizen, then the West should make that country a smoldering heap that glows in the dark for the next couple of millennia.
