Recently, Steve Wozniak – Co-founder of Apple Inc. said that the hype around bitcoin is similar to what he saw in the dotcom era: “It was a bubble, and I feel that way about blockchain”. Moreover, Adam Haigh and Eric Lam recently published an article in Bloomberg. The authors claimed that “Bitcoin bloodbath is reaching the dot-com levels, as many tokens go to zero”.

Some blockchain advocates believe that these people are wrong as Blockchain and other altcoins are the future of money. Furthermore, they also argue that the altcoins and tokens that failed were unable to create value. Others believe that Bitcoin is nothing more than a speculative asset with zero base price. They believe that Bitcoin bubble will burst soon, just like dot-com bubble.
