President Donald Trump is accusing Democratic Sen. Jon Tester of Montana of viciously attacking Adm. Ronny Jackson, a former White House doctor whom the president had tapped to be secretary of Veterans Affairs.

Trump said Thursday at a campaign rally for Tester’s Republican opponent that Tester “led the Democratic mob” in an effort to destroy Jackson’s reputation.
