  • After a stable 53-run knock from Quinton de Kock, SA batting collapsed at an astonishing rate, losing 8 wickets in 16.1 overs with just 51 runs.
  • With three run outs, South Africa fell apart even though JP Duminy tried reviving the innings.

  • India defeated South Africa in the 11th match of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy to reach the semi-finals of the tournament.
  • Chasing 192, Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli put on a 128 run partnership for the second wicket to guide India to a 8-wicket victory.
  • India will face Bangladesh in the second semi-final on 15th June at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
