I know watering is difficult in these hot temps so the earlier in the morning the easier it will be for you, and early morning is also the best time to water your Landscaping. You really want to avoid watering mid-day, as the hot sun shining on wet leaves will scald plants.
As a reminder, water your plants and trees every other day as follows:
Perennials for 20-30 seconds
Shrubs and grasses for one minute
Trees 15 minutes
Evergreens: as above, but only need to water every 4-5 days.
Sprinkler systems do not provide enough deep watering for your landscaping! Be sure to use your hose when watering your landscape.
As always, please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions about anything.
