A sticky end

There were another nine traps, covered each side with these black flying sap suckers.  I’ve released the predator mites, Amblyseius who will feed on the larvae and immature thrips breaking the life cycle – well that’s the idea.

Thankfully there isn’t a great deal in the polytunnel for the thrips to feast on, but I have noticed the peach blossom has white patches, an indicator that the thrips have been there – grrrr..
