1992 – Williams Fish Tales – $4000

Gone Fishin’

Williams 1992 Fish Tales is one of the most popular and most successful sports themed pinball machines ever created by Williams. Motorboats race across the lake using depth finders to search for fish while avoiding the dreaded monster fish. Mark Ritchie designed the playfield layout and Pat McMahon created the artwork.

Fish Tales has two flippers, two pop bumpers, and a fishing rod ball launcher and a ball-launching catapult behind the three-ball fishing reel ball lock. The fishing reel is used to lock ball for multi-ball.  Shoot a ball into the reel, it spins around, and is ready to load another!  Once it’s fully loaded you begin a great three-ball multi-ball

In the center of the playfield is a ramp that is shaped like a boat. Criss-crossing ramps in the center of the playfield feed wireforms dropping into each return lane for great ball flow. After catching each fish, shoot the spinner to stretch the truth about the size of the fish

The video mode is truly unique. You’re a fisherman with a spear gun, and you get to shoot water skiers and speed boats! Shoot the Extra Ball symbol to earn an extra ball. An animated twenty-two-inch plastic fish atop the backbox flops and kicks during game play.

Fish Tales is a fast-paced game with a good mix of long and mid-range shots It features a three ball multi-ball and it is a four-player game suitable for all ages. This game has been upgraded with LED lighting throughout and configured for free play. Please call or e-mail with any questions.
