New Google Pixel 4 And Pixel 4 XL Specs Leaked

Tags: pixel

Google is due to launch its flagship Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL handsets later this year. It has already released a teaser for the phones after some of the earlier leaks about them. While Google remains tightlipped on the other details, a new report provides some additional information about key specs of the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.

BGR hears that the Pixel 4’s display resolution will be 2280×1080 compared to the Pixel 3’s 2160×1080. Consequently, the Pixel 4 XL also has a higher 3040×1440 pixel display compared to the 2960×1440 pixel display of its predecessor.

The scribe also mentions that both of Google’s new smartphones will come with 6GB of RAM. That’s a much needed upgrade from the 4G LPDDR4X RAM that comes with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. It’s also claimed that there’s going to be a 128GB internal storage option for these devices.

There’s a good chance that Google will offer additional storage options for the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL as well, though none of them have been mentioned in this report. It’s not known at this point in time if the higher storage capacity variants may also have more RAM as is the case with smartphones from some other Android manufacturers.

Google won’t confirm any of these details officially until October at the very least which is when it’s expected to unveil the new devices.
