Nokia has announced it’s plans to see Nokia brand return to the mobile phone and tablet markets. This time its going to be based on Android, instead of Symbian OS.
Under a 10 year agreement, Nokia will give branding and intellectual property licensing rights to HMD, to manufacture Nokia-branded feature phones, smartphones and tablets. However, Nokia will make sure that the mandatory brand requirements and performance related provisions to ensure that all Nokia-branded products manufactured by HMD exemplify consumer expectations of Nokia devices, including quality and design.
So, will all the Nokia fan-boys return back to using Nokia? Well, I might use it at least as my secondary phone.
