Motorola Moto G making way for its successor, phased out of Flipkart

Motorola had started phasing out its highly successful Moto G from Flipkart as a succession was due soon, by giving a price drop to both the 8 GB and 16 GB variants. Today, finally the Motorola Moto G is out of Flipkart’s stock as the “new Moto G” will be unveiled on the 5th of September in an event that will be held in Chicago and New Delhi simultaneously.

Moto G was a highly successful smartphone in India as it managed to lure more than a million customers in barely 5 months. Touted as the perfect smartphone it surely had some flaws like the camera quality and non-expansion of memory which Motorola has addressed upon in the Successor of Moto G.

Due to the numerous leaks in the last few months, we have some confirmed specifications of the “new Moto G” which goes by an increase in the screen size; a 5-inch 720p display, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front facing camera, Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, 1GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory which can be further expanded via microSD card and Android 4.4.4.

The price of this new successor is highly likeable to be marked not greater than Rs. 11,999.

Motorola with the Moto G successor is also believed to be launching the Moto 360 smartwatch and a successor to Moto X on the same day.
