Vodafone has announced that they will start shipping the Nokia N8 smartphone in August 2010.
The handset features a 3.5 inches AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a Resolution of 360 x 640 pixels. It has 256MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, 16GB internal memory and a microSD card slot for up to 32GB memory card.

The camera features a 12 megapixel lens with Carl Zeiss optics and a maximum resolution of 4000×3000 pixels. It also has Xenon flash and autofocus capability. In video mode, it can record at 720p with 25Fps.
The N8 has a ARM 11 680 MHz processor and uses a 3D Graphics HW accelerato. Other features include WiFi and 3G connectivity, USB 2.0, 3.5mm audio jack and runs under Symbian ^3 OS. The Nokia N8 will be available in Dark Grey, Silver White, Green, Blue and Orange.
For the moment, there is no information on when the Nokia N8 will launch or about pricing.
