Vivo is going to launch a new Series of smartphones dubbed the Vivo Z series. The first device under the lineup is going to be the Vivo Z1 which is going to be launched on May 25.
The device will be sold for around 1000 Yuan meaning that it is going to be a mid-range smartphone. Vivo has shared several posts about the device saying that we are going to receive a lot of surprises with the device.

Vivo is currently having two different series of smartphones – the X series which is their flagship lineup of smartphones and the budget-friendly Y series. The Z series, therefore, is more likely to feature mid-range Android smartphones.
As far as the Vivo Z1 is concerned, the device will sport a 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch at the top. The chin of the device has extremely thin bezels making it look really premium.
The power button and the volume rockers sit on the right side of the device and the SIM card tray would most probably be on the left side.
As of now, the company has not provided us with any specifications of the Vivo Z1 but considering the statement “excellent configuration and strong performance”, we can expect a Kirin 970 chipset along with 4GB/6GB of RAM.

The device will go official on May 25 and pre-orders will start on Jingdong (JD.com), Tmall, Suning Tesco and Vipshop.
