What is GPU Turbo
GPU Turbo is a technology in Huawei’s mobile phones that can enhance the performance of graphics by integrating the hardware and software. It opened up the processing bottleneck between the EMUI operating system, GPU, and CPU, and reconstructed the traditional graphics processing framework at a lower level, achieving software and hardware collaboration. Based on the GPU Turbo technology, the processing efficiency of graphics will increase by 60% while the power usage by the SoC will reduce by 30% and the overall performance and gaming experience of mobile phones will be further improved.

After this, Huawei P20 series, Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, Huawei Mate 9 Series, Huawei P10 Series, Huawei Nova 3E, Huawei Enjoy 8 Plus, and Huawei Enjoy 7S will get the update respectively. Huawei will gradually push the GPU Turbo’s update to the remaining Huawei mobile phones after October.

This will take the photography experience of Huawei’s Mate 10 series will to a new level.
