Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge predicted as phones waterproof IP68 certified. That is, the phone can be pushed into the water with a depth of 1.5 meters for up to 30 minutes.

To prove it, the test team from SquareTrade conducted a series of tests. For comparison, the same test was also applied to the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus.

Not just a matter of waterproof, but also physical endurance smartphone overall, as reported by Cnet.

In addition to durability tests of water, there is also an endurance test dings, shock resistance, and resistance to pressure from other objects.

From the test results, it is evident that the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge still function after plunged into the water with a depth of 1.5 meters within 30 minutes. But, after the phone is removed, the audio so the much fainter.

Apple iPhone 6S also showed a similar performance. In fact, during this time Apple never tout the ability of water resistance on the flagship.

Unlike the case with the iPhone 6S Plus. Variants with such a large screen can not stand for long plunged into the water. In less than 30 minutes, the iPhone 6S Plus is already "dead".

Despite winning to water resistance, S7 and S7 Edge Galaxy could not survive as well as the iPhone in terms of physical fitness on dings and shock. Based on testing, most powerful iPhone screen 6S, followed by the iPhone 6S Plus.

With this, it is arguably the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge suited to accompany its wet.

But, for activities that are more "hard" such as parkour under drizzling rain, the iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus has a greater chance to survive.
