Yesterday, for World Emoji Day, Apple gave the Apple Leadership website an overhaul with new Memoji avatars.

Every executive now listed on the Leadership webpage features a Memoji face design, including Tim Cook, Jony Ive, Eddy Cue, and Phil Schiller.

This is of course an attempt to push Memoji, a feature that’s available in iOS 12 that allows users to create a customizable Animoji for themselves. Users can change eyewear, facial hair, skin color, hairstyle, and more:

A new type of customizable Animoji is coming to iPhone X. Now you can easily create a Memoji to match your personality and mood. You can make as many alter egos as you want to use in Messages and FaceTime.

Of course, we can’t fail to mention the confirmation of 70 new emojis coming to iOS and Mac this fall, available to users with Unicode 11. This means that, in total, there will now be 2,832 emojis available (including all variants), with Apple once again highlighting the diversity of options including emoji for bald people, redheads, and those that have gone gray.

New animals will also be added, including a kangaroo, a parrot, and a lobster, along with a handful of additional food options like a cupcake, a mango, a lettuce, and a moon cake. Apple hasn’t said specifically when the new emojis will be available to users.
