MWC 2017: The Upcoming Smartphones, What to Expect?

Digi Freaks are eagerly waiting for Mobile World Congress 2017 as always. They are expecting MWC 2017 to become super cool as the CES 2017 was very dull this time. Some of our member told me that there was nothing outstanding at CES 2017, it was like offering old wine into new glass. There has been rumors about launching of flagship killer Smartphones at MWC 2017. So, is the hype real?

Well, we too are not sure about it. As of now we have received some names of smartphones that are going to be launched at MWC 2017. Brands like Lenovo, Nokia and LG are going to show up their handsets there. We also heard that, this time most of the brands are going to install AI software on their smartphones.

The Upcoming Smartphones – MWC 2017

We expect the below smartphones are going to be released at Mobile World Congress 2017

LG G6

LG’s flagship smartphone is G6 and we expect that it will be launched at MWC 2017. It’s predecessor G5 was also launched at MWC 2016. After facing failure of modular smartphone with G5, LG has decided to keep traditional smartphone this time. According to Indian Express, the LG G6 will come with 5.7 inch 2880 x 1440 OLED display, and it will be the first smartphone with 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, we will have 4GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Like earlier, G6 will have dual camera setup. The device will run on Android Nougat out of the box.

Moto G5 Plus

We also heard that, there will be a press-event for Motorola Lenovo G5 Plus and they have also started sending media invites. The design of G5 Plus will be same as Moto X, however there will be some improvements in performance over the Moto G4 Plus. Motorola has also confirmed that, they will introduce new Moto X series.

The specification of Moto G5 Plus have been leaked online at Romanian Forums, the device will come with 5.5 inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 652 processor, 4GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 13 MP rear and  5 MP front camera, the battery is 3000 mAh. Meanwhile, the Moto G5 Plus will have metal body with curved back.

Nokia 8

After crying and pondering, Nokia is finally coming with Nokia 8 which will the first smartphone for Nokia powered by Android. The device is packed with Snapdragon 835 chipset and  6 GB RAM. Nokia has confirmed that the camera on it will be the best so far. We might see this device at Mobile World Congress 2017.

Xiaomi Mi 6

Xiaomi Mi 6 is set to release at Mobile World Congress  2017, and it seems like we may get to see this device in 3 variants with different budget segments. The only difference in these 3 variants will be processor. The low-end model of Mi 6 will be priced at $200, the second model will come with Snapdragon 835 chipset and 4GB RAM and will be priced at $360. While the third model will come with curved display and will be priced at $434. The Mi 5 was launched in MCW 2016 and this time also Xiaomi is set to launch its new flagship Mi 6 at Mobile World Congress 2017.
