Breathe Easy Bath

This bath is simple to put together and smells delightful. I have a very large bathtub, so I tend to use a bit more oils for baths. I cut the recipe by half for you. Using Natrogix lavender and Eucalyptus Oils, I use 7 drops each into running water. I also toss in a 1/4 cup of pink salt in with a tablespoon of glycerin for good measure. The pink salt will help to pull toxins out of the kid’s skin, and the glycerin will help keep them soft and smooth.

Benefits of Lavander and Eucalyptus Essential Oils

My breathe easy bath has two powerful essential oils in it. Lavander helps sooth the kid’s senses, and ease them into sleep, while the eucalyptus oil helps clear the lungs and, as the name implies, breathe easy. When the kids get out, they are not so congested and snotty, and relaxed and ready for bed.

With benefits that range from sleep to skin care, there are TONS of uses for lavender oil, and that is why it is my #1 oil. I use it to help bruises, ease into sleep, and cleaning solutions. Check back soon because I have a section coming soon dedicated just to essential oils and tons of fantastic recipes and hacks just for you! What is in your medicine bag for when things get a little nasty and everyone is sick? Do you have a Breathe Easy Bath recipe or something similar that is tried and true for everyone in your home? I would love to see it and try it out!

Ok, the kids are ready to get out of the bath, which means that it is a story and snuggle time. I hope everyone in your home is safe from influenza this season.

Until Next Time

Marlene
