INTERNET has become One of the Most Useful resources a Modern Human can get in his Life. More than a Resource, Internet is a Gift, a Power and a Chance…….
I always wanted to set-up an Internet Connection at my Home and I was not able to get it until I finished my 12th Grade. I always say to others that I have been blogging for more than 2 years. Literally it is True. But if you are taking “Blogging” in its True Sense, then it is not True. It took me many years to understand the true meaning of Blogging. Still, I am not a Successful Blogger.
A few months ago, it suddenly occurred to me that I am not doing anything with the Gift I have. And I am not the only person who is not using the Gift of Internet.
I have access to Trillions of Archives, Articles, Services and much more things across the Globe through Internet and all I am doing is liking Photos and Posts in Social Networking sites. Most of the Young Generation are using Internet just to like, share and discuss about Posts. Posts that have no Value. Just think about it, guys. You can do virtually anything in the Internet and if you are Posting Useless things, Watching Porn and wasting your Mobile Data for nothing, then I have pity on you. It’s Time that we, young people started to think about the True Potential of the Internet.
Most teenagers believe that by gaining likes for their Posts, they have achieved something. They have a Great Sense of Accomplishment when they see their Posts getting Hundreds and hundreds of likes. But if you are thinking correctly, you will be able to understand that Likes and Shares are of no use for us Common People. You are using “Social Networking” sites to get likes and post things. The Expression “Social Network” itself clearly says that it is for Networking. And unless you are planning on starting a Company or Venture in the future, you are wasting your Time. Social Networking is actually for gaining Public Attention or Publicity. And Publicity is useful for those who are in need of it: Companies, Organizations, Business Groups, Ventures, etc.
If you are using “Social Networking” Sites, then you have to be creative enough to Contribute something new to the World and to your Community. If you can’t do that, Getting likes and popularity is just waste of your Time and Money…….
