Thats the call of the wild today on this Australian day of 2006 AND the day I became a full fledged Aussie Chick and I have a bit of Paper, a Shrub, A pin and a Book to prove just how Aussie I am....lol. Yes today I got my Australian Citizenship and I am PROUD as punch to have it. The ceremony was great and i did get a bit emotional during it. The only downside was it was so BLOODY hot. Yeah they had Air con but considering the that we were packed in like sardines the AC was useless. Anyway it was still a very special day for me and I'm glad i finally did it.

I also registered for my course today which starts in about 2 weeks and to my surprise and glee Jason also signed up to do a course, he is doing his bachelor of applied science (Information Technology), he is starting with just 1 unit whereas I am doing 2. it will be good having an at home study buddy...lol

Anyways thats my day. I spent the rest of the day swelter in this darn heat. My thoughts are with all the firemen and women who are currently fighting so very bad Bush fires in Victoria and around other parts of Oz.

Oh and to Jo and Noel (and Oliver and Alex..lol) a HUUUGGGGEEEEEEE thanks again for looking after the boys today, you are true lifesavers and a great friends. If it hadn't been for your help today Jason would have had to stay home with the boys and miss my ceremony so thank you thank you thank you
