It was my first Meal in Philippines. I reached florida blanca after 3-4 hours  of drive from Manila due to heavy traffic. I was starving and went to get my meal at a local restaurant.
 When asked what would be a traditional dish to try the waiter recommended me to try tocilog which consisted of fried tocino(pork bacon),sinagag(garlic friend rice) and fried eggs. It is normally served as a breakfast but I had it for dinner as I was pretty starving. The pork was sweet cooked in red sauce. The meat was really crispy the way I liked my bacon. The combination suited my taste bud and would definitely recommend you all to try it if you ever visit Philippines.
