Nilantang Pili with Kuyog

My team at Canadian Immigration Consultancy went to Legazpi City few months ago to conduct a Live and Work in Canada seminar. We're supposed to have lunch at Waway's Restaurant but when we arrived at the place, the restaurant is closed. It's a Saturday, not sure why the placed was closed.

Anyway, good thing there's another restaurant just in front of Waway's. I was trying to recall the name of that restaurant but my memory isn't helping. But I can't forget the feeling that this Nilantang Pili with Kuyog brought me.

When I was still a child, we lived for a couple of years in Gubat, Sorsogon and it was there that I first tasted and liked Nilantang Pili with Kuyog. I've long been wanting to eat this again can't find one in Manila. So when I saw in the menu that they serve Nilantang Pili with Kuyog, I immediately ordered one. While eating, I was silently reminiscing my childhood memories in Bicol. I'm not sure though if my companions liked Nilantang Pili with Kuyog too. :-)
