This means that eating this high calorie item for breakfast is definitely a special occasion kind of thing.
As we all morn our youthful metabolisms, we can add some joy back into our breakfast routine with this recipe. I call these smart muffins because this will be the easiest muffins you have ever baked, it just so smart to do it!!
These muffins are only TWO Ingredients, they're low in calories, and they taste really REALLY good! This recipe with make about 24 muffins and are 60 calories each.
Ingredients:
1 Box of Angel food cake mix (make sure the box says "just add water)1 can of fruit (20 oz can)
The just add water icon is a MUST! I love this confetti version and it bakes just the same.
Directions:
Mix ingredients together until powder has completely dissolvedScoop mixture (that will be extremely foamy) into a lined cupcake panBake at 350 degrees for 15 minsENJOY!
This is the foam batter that will occur once you mix the two ingredients together. Looks like a 7th grade science experiment! 😄
Feel free to add a topping. Sprinkling them with powder sugar is a great option that won't add too many calories.
