Recently, Capital Business Credit’s Los Angeles Office spent a day mentoring young students to prepare them to make smart, lifelong, personal decisions. The team volunteered for Junior Achievement of Southern California ,which supports students by advising them to stay in school and to prepare themselves through entrepreneurship and work readiness programs.
The team taught students how to create a balanced monthly budget that included housing, transportation, insurance, savings, and expenses; based on real life scenarios. They were able to mentor students and provide “real world” financial experiences based on what they know best – financial advice. Check out the picture below of the team during their day of volunteering.
