How did your weekend go? We had a casual Family weekend.  Saturday we decided to order Chinese for Dinner.  My husband and I stayed in and watched a few things on television.  Sunday is either a day we go out and do something as a family or we stay home all day and relax.  I made my family our regular Sunday breakfast.  I enjoy making breakfast for my family.  Later we went to Eckert’s Orchard to get some apples and a pumpkin.  Apples that are in season right now are Fuji, Jonathan Gold, Evercrisp, Gala, and Cameo.  One is able to ride a wagon to the Apple trees to pick your own apples.  Then you can ride out to pick your own pumpkins too.  We picked a good amount of apples for home.  Then we picked out a pumpkin near the store.  We loved walking around in the Eckert’s store.  My son loves to try samples.  We ended up getting some applewurst which was one of the samples.  Then we ended up grilling them on the grill.  I haven’t decided what I will make with my apples yet.
