Hublot has recently teamed up with French fine artist Richard Orlinski to raise the bar in the luxury watch industry by releasing the first ever colorful ceramic watch, breaking the classic pattern of black, white and grey. It’s a beautiful, highly polished and saturated all red ceramic watch called Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski that’s ready to take over the world.

The design combines the pattern of sharp three dimensional structures found in Orlinski’s work and adapted to Hublot’s methods, with gem-like cases and many polished planes and deep lines of red ceramic.

During Hublot’s four years of development, they’ve managed to not only get the red they’ve wanted but also create a harder ceramic than before. Their new red ceramic attained a Vickers Hardness level of 1500 HV1, better than their previous 1200 HV2.

Hublot seems to be leading the breakthrough in ceramic watchmaking by breaking the barrier of the usual black and grey ceramic, and people are enthusiastic about their next colors of ceramic watches. That though remains to be seen given the fact that it took the watchmaker a full four years to implement their colored ceramic concept into production.

The Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Watch comes with a bold 45 mm case, 13.45 mm thick, which combined with the red ceramic, will for sure make a brave statement on every wrist. The watch is water resistant to 5 ATM and comes with Hublot’s HUB1155 chronograph movement, with a 4 Hz frequency and a total of 42 hours power reserve.

The backside of the case will feature the same red ceramic as the rest of the watch, with a sapphire window to display the movement in all its grace. The watch will come with a red rubber strap to keep everything in tone with the rest of timekeeping piece.

Since you might be wondering, the Hublot Classic Fusion Chronograph Orlinski Watch will be a limited edition, with only 200 pieces to be made and a cool price tag of $24,100.
