The Gift Of Giving

Today is the 2nd of December and it is officially Christmas season! With only 23 days to go until the big day, you’re probably thinking about presents now (unless you’re super organised and got all your gifts on Black Friday last week).

Every year I find it gets harder to decide what to get people for Christmas, but with DIY and Crafting becoming more and more popular it gives you the opportunity to create a truly unique Gift for your nearest and dearest.

At the beginning of November I attended the Photobox #GiftyGrotto pop up event at Getty Images, Fitzrovia. The event was about as Christmassy as they come for November and I felt like I was being enveloped in a warm festive hug!

There were photos, albums and frames galore and 3 workshop stations set up to allow you to design and personalise presents for your loved ones.

From printing photo themed mugs to advent calendar crafting, and my personal favourite – bauble and snow globe making, the event has inspired me to lead with my heart this year rather than my wallet.

So I think I’m going to forego the mad dash on Oxford St this Christmas, cosy up on the sofa and get creative!
