If you're familiar with Rothco, you've probably heard about our MA-1 Flight Jacket. The MA-1 Flight Jacket was first developed in the 1950's by the United States Air Force but is now worn all over the world as fashionable outerwear; it also happens to be our most popular jacket. We carry the MA-1 in multiple colors but we've recently introduced a brand new iteration of the jacket... our Lightweight MA-1 Flight Jacket!
We've taken our classic MA-1 but we took out the filling and adjusted the fit to make the perfect Spring/Fall bomber jacket. The Lightweight MA-1 features a soft enhanced nylon fabric and includes the same pockets as our classic MA-1 (1 utility pocket on the arm, 2 slash pockets on the front and 2 inside pockets). The other thing that remains the same is the classic orange lining; a callback to its original military roots.
This month, we're featuring the Lightweight MA-1 Jacket as our #GOTM (Gear of the Month). So stay tuned to Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat for a closer look at this new twist on an old favorite. Can't wait? Check out the breakdown we did on YouTube:
