Saint Tropez Classic Bronzing Mousse Review and Tutorial

Happy Monday, Ladies! I hope you all enjoyed your weekends and are ready for another fantastic week! This weekend was my sorority’s bid day, and I got a lot of comments from my friends and sisters about my tan. I have used this product for years and I thought that it was about time to do a review on The Saint Tropez Classic Bronzing Mousse!

I begin the tanning process by showering, shaving, and exfoliating my body. I use self tanner quite often, so there is always remnants of self tanner on my body somewhere; it is important to remove it all, along with any other dead skin on your body, before applying a fresh coat! This goes for any self- tanner you use. I use a loofah to do this with whatever exfoliator I have on hand, and it works pretty well for me.

Once I am dried off completely, i lay down a towel, set myself up in front of a mirror, and strip! This may seem weird to admit on the internet, but a lot of people don’t realize the importance of doing this without clothing on. Undergarments are okay, but don’t wear anything that could leave unwanted lines. Having a good sized mirror is important as well, so you are able to see any spots you may have missed that are on your skin. The best part of The Saint Tropez Classic Bronzing Mousse is that you can see the product that you’re applying. This ensures that all spots are covered, and avoids streaking.

I also use a tanning mitt when applying self- tanner. WIthout a tanning mitt, the self- tanner definitely doesn’t work as well, and is sure to be streaky! If you’re buying the self-tanner, pay the extra seven dollars for the mitt, you won’t regret it! The pump on this product is another one of my favorite features. It is so much easier for me to pump the product on the mitt, instead of having to squeeze the product out. Self tanners in tubes have been messy in my experience, and I like to keep my self- tanning experience as neat as possible.

The overall color of this product is exactly what i go for. I don’t find it to be orange, and as you can see when it comes out of the tube, it almost looks green before the application to avoid that. This product gives you a true color, and gives a natural, but noticeable  tan. As an extremely pale person naturally, I would recommend this product to girls with all skin tones!  8 ounces of product is $42 dollars, which compared to other self tanners and spray tans, isn’t very much at all.

Obviously, I love this self- tanner, but would love to test out your favorites as well! Leave a comment below letting me know what your favorite self- tanners are, and you just might see a review in the near future! As always, thank you for supporting My Loquacity! Your support means the world to me!
