Hello All….. This is for all the ladies, like me, who get questioned every day for wearing Makeup. Hope you all can relate this if you have ever been from this situation.

As a makeup lover, do you get compliments like, “Your makeup is looking good or you look good” or you have received comments/question like “Why do you wear so much makeup”? I bet you have received more comments than compliments.

What surprises me the most is why people get offended by colors on my face. I love playing with the colors (just not in the form of crayons).

Here are some of the reasons why I wear makeup (for those who just don’t get it)..

1. I just do it for Myself not to impress You!

Seeing the makeup the first thing that comes to the mind of others is “She has done this to impress others”. Like Seriously? Their reaction surprises me. They ask me, “How much time do you spend on this daily?” Most of the guy ask me “Why you do apply so much makeup? Why can’t you be natural?” Well, thank you so much buddy, but I did not spend dollars on this foundation just for you. Of course, there are times when I go out without any makeup on. It’s all about feeling good while wearing makeup. I do it because I love doing it. And when you love anything, you should do it without any hesitation, especially when you know there’s nothing wrong in it.

2. It’s an Art

Makeup artist, makeup artistry and makeup art. If we closely look at these three words, then we realize that the common word of these three is “ART“! Makeup is an art. While many people may not appreciate makeup for what it is, makeup is considered an art form. It’s a skill. You have a canvas and you can turn it into anything. In today’s era, there is still a portion of the population, who thinks the use of cosmetics as inflated attempt of changing who you are and what features you were born with.

3. It’s a way to express Yourself

It’s an expression of what you are and expressing yourself in the best possible way is joyful. Yes! In my opinion, it’s a better way to express yourself. Makeup is what you feel for yourself. Some girls go for the natural makeup while some go for the sexy, dramatic etc. By makeup, I can see all the possible versions of myself.

4. It boosts my Confidence

Of course, I feel confident without makeup. But it does feel nice when I look in the mirror and think “Wow! I’m looking great” That is what makeup is all about. Being loved by self and the much-needed self-confidence. There is no limit to how confident you feel about your look or your appearance. Just because I feel like wearing makeup every time I step out of the house doesn’t mean that I have lack of confidence.

5. It makes me Happy ツ

Nothing feels better than feeling happy and feeling beautiful. And makeup is a wonderful way to feel the same (especially for me). It’s a fresh way to start a day with a positive attitude. It’s the only time when you can turn all the attention towards yourself.

It’s funny when people ask you to stay natural. But they themselves either go to the gym or wear fancy clothes to express themselves. Why are people bothered when someone wears makeup.

So, in the end, I would like to sum up by saying that we all have right to look the way we want. Whether it is by altering our body shape or by putting some makeup on.
