Off shoulder

Even if it has been a trend in the year 2016, the off the shoulder trend has been going strong in the year 2017 but it slowly leaving. The off shoulder is made by having your sleeves not beginning from your shoulders but by the side of your hand leaving the shoulder bare. These off shoulder isn't a really new trend, these has been a trend of the past that are redesigned to fit our generation. These trend can be made into a top, gown, or jumpsuit. The off shoulder top can be paired with a skirt either long or short, tight or free; or on trousers either long or short, tight or free. Either of these pairs can make you look beautify, casual, classy, formal (depends) and a fashionista.

Take a look at the off shoulder gown I recently made myself with an Ankara material and let me know what you think.

Cold Shoulder

These trend was actually gotten from the off shoulder and these was very common trend around the street of Lagos State. It was designed to relieve the stress of always adjusting the off shoulder gown. I cant explain well how it looks but pictures are below on how the design looks like. These trend can also be paired the same way the off shoulders are paired.

Chokers

These is my favourite kind of necklace accessory which i have never worn. It the reason why i started liking accessories for the neck. It is made round the neck, some stands in the middle of the neck while some are down the neck but the are still own. I mostly see the chokers on goth but now anybody can wear it and still rock it. The chokers are either made of chain, black material, jean material or clothes material.

Turban

A Nigerian favourite head tile is the turban. Using the common phase; having a bad hair day? use a turban. the difference between this and a normal long scarf, is how easy it is to tie the turban round your head. The turban is a very long cab that you first wear on your head and then you tie it round. Turbans come in various colours and can be worn on various dresses whether is English or traditional but please don't use it on suits.

Well as you have it above, that the fashion trends that rocked the streets of Nigeria last year and we cant wait to see what the designers have instore for us this year.
