IPatanjali Cosmetics – Are they Worth Buying??

Patanjali is slowly becoming a huge brand here on India, and I am very happy about that.

You see,  I love the idea of using products from the brands which are from the country you belong.  This way you we can save a ton of our country’s  money.

By supporting Indian brands,  we can make sure that we are supporting our own country’s economy.  Whatever may be your country,  you should make sure  that you are supporting the brand which are owned by your own country.

But that doesn’t mean that we have to compromise with the quality of product we are buying.

So getting back to the topic,  Patanjali is one of my favorite brands.  But let’s face it not all of their products are good enough.

I love their products like Aloe Vera Gel and other like  food,  soaps, rose water,  and importantly their medicines.
But their Skin Care products are just useless.

I have tried all the products mentioned below and then only I decided to write serious Shady,  but honest and true review of their following products.

1 Patanjali Moisturizer Cream.

This Patanjali Moisturizer Cream (with Shea Butter, Chamomile and Olive Oil)  is one of the worst ever skin care products I have ever used.  And trust me,  I am totally into skin care,  so I have lots of experience in this matter.

Cost –  75 INR.

Quantity –  50 gm.

What’s Wrong with it –  1 First of all,  for a Drugstore product,  the price is not that low.  I mean you get only 50 grams.

2  It’s extremely greasy.

3 It will make your skin break out.

4  It cannot be worn when you are going out.

So over all I think this product is not worth buying at all.

2 Patanjali Beauty Cream.

So Patanjali Beauty Cream is also one of the products I really dislike.  It’s not up there and it’s really not  good.

Cost –  70 INR.

Quantity –  50 gm.

What’s Wrong with it –  1 This cream is again greasy and heavy on the skin.

2  It leaves a whitish,  light layer,  sheen on the skin,  which is totally unnatural and unpleasant.

3  it cause skin to break out.  I really had to suffer from lots of acne due to this.

4 This cream will make your face oily.

So my suggestion will be,  not to buy this product.

3 Patanjali Kesh Kanti  Aloe Vera  Hair Cleanser.

This one right there,  is one of the not  worst but not so good  shampoo/cleansers I have ever used.

Now the reason for so harsh words is that,  I really had to face hair fall due to this.

Cost –  75 INR

Quantity –  200 ml.

What is wrong with it –  1. It’s too harsh. You really have to dilute it.

2. It makes your hair dry and Rough.

3. It makes your hair fall.

What’s good about it –  1. It’s really affordable.

2. A little goes a long way.

3.  It’s natural and eco-friendly.

4. It does work for dandruff.

So overall I think if you do not have problem of hair fall,  you can try this.

4 Patanjali Lip Balm.

This one is not that bad if you think about the price point.

I mean you get 10 gm for 25 INR.

I mean why the he’ll I’m I even complaining,  it’s so low cost that I think it does pretty well according to the price.

What’s not good about it –  1  It’s not full coverage.

2 It’s not long Wearing.

Yep that’s all.

What’s Good about it –  1 it’s really really low cost.

2 It smells really good.

3 it has a nice aftertaste.

4 It is glossy,  which all the girls want.

So overall I think it is not a bad product. But if you are willing to pay a little more and buy something that works,  this one is not for you.

5 Patanjali  Kajal.

Patanjali Herbal Kajal is one of the products I have always seen hanging in Patanjali stores,  ever since they started the brand.

I didn’t try this on my eyes,  I just swatched  it on my hand and it is really useless.

I mean the literally claim it’s smudge proof ,  but it is anything but smudgeproof.

You will look like a ghost if you will put that on your eyes and let it do its own thing.

Cost –  90 INR.

For –  3 grams.

Just don’t buy this.

So guys I just want to say that I sometimes,  even good brands come up with products which Suck.

That does not mean that The brand is not good.

I wrote this article as I don’t want you to spend your valuable money on stuff which is useless,  cos I wasted my  lot of money on them.
