April Fit Snack Box Review: Weight Loss and Liver Health?

I’m not sure what to say about the April Fit Snack Box. It had its highs and lows, but the good parts of the April Fit Snack box outweighed the questionable. Here’s what I unpacked:
No Cow protein cookie: This peanut butter protein cookie was definitely a high point of the April Fit Snack box! I could taste actual peanut butter and peanut butter chunks. Each serving only had 1g of sugar – but 13g of protein.
Amsety liver health bars: Nope. Still hate them. The April Fit Snack box included two: a “dark chocolate champion” and a “peanut butter superstar,” and both tasted like neither. If I never saw another Amsety bar in my Fit Snack box, it would be too soon.
Hippeas: I do like chickpeas, and these organic chickpea puffs are a great alternative to other, less-healthy crunchy snacks (potato chips, I’m looking at you). Definitely another high point in the box! They’re gluten-free, vegan, and the cheddar flavor was actually pretty good.
Medi Weight Loss chocolate protein bar: Guess who doesn’t need weight loss bars? This gal here! That said, it made a good snack and actually tasted like chocolate, so I can let this one slide.
Medi Weight Loss marshmallow crisp: Again, I’m not super-excited about weight loss products, but this one tasted like a Rice Krispy treat, so that was okay. It does pack 11 grams of protein, so it has some nutritional value, right? I actually liked the taste of both Medi Weight Loss products, so I can let them slide.
Detox Organics: Oh my gosh, I so want more of these! This chocolate superfood tastes so good, unlike so many of the other superfood mixes sold today.

April Fit Snack Box Bonus Items

The April Fit Snack box also had some bonus items:

Rise Buddy pizza chips: I’ve always liked these, and the pizza flavor is a nice, savory, tomato kind of taste.

Saffron Road lentil crackers: These are cracked pepper flavored, so they pair well with other savory things like guacamole.

FitAid: Nothing needed! I love FitAid, and I’ll sometimes drink one as a boost on days when I’m lagging. A lot of the people at my box like to drink them post-workout, too.

My overall feeling is that there were some great products in here, but the Amsety bars have to go. It wasn’t a bad April Fit Snack box, but the bonus items were fantastic, so I was happy.
Do you get the Fit Snack box? What was your favorite item?
