The last thing I expected for February was a vegan Fit Snack Box, and I must admit feeling apprehensive. It’s not that I have anything against a vegan diet; it’s just not for me. I like meat way too much.
Nevertheless, the February Fit Snack box was a vegan box, chock full of treats.

Freedom Bar: This dairy-free, gluten-free, soy-free bar was the right antidote to the Bars that Will Not Be Named in previous boxes. It actually tasted good!
Justin’s Almond Butter: I’m a big fan of Justin’s. The peanut butter packets are a staple in my travel bag, and I was eager to try the almond butter. It did not disappoint.
Manitoba Harvest: I actually don’t eat hemp hearts that often, but I’ve found they’re a nice supplement to yogurt or smoothies. The nutty taste makes them a nice addition to those foods, and they also pack 10 grams of protein per 30-gram serving.
FullGreen Vegi Rice: Oh my gosh, can I get more of this? The FullGreen Vegi Rice, which I received in sweet potato, was so perfect with the buffalo chicken I prep for myself for the week.
Fizzique: I had never tried sparkling protein water! This was interesting. I could see myself drinking this after an afternoon workout or run.
SPORTea: I have to admit I didn’t drink this. The tea is supposed to provide energy with the equivalent of the amount of caffeine in decaf coffee. And it’s a stress fighter, so perhaps I really should try it!
Skratch Labs Energy Bar: I liked this bar, too! It was made with quinoa and brown rice crisps, and it really made a great snack on a recent camping trip.
Protes Protein Chips: These pea protein chips were okay. I wasn’t wildly in love with them, but they were a decent snack and a good alternative to potato chips.
Do you get the Fit Snack box? What’s your favorite item from February?
