It’s All About the Protein – Premier Protein Clear Review

This post was sponsored by Premier Protein and FitFluential, but all opinions are my own.

Like many people, I struggle with getting enough Protein in my daily food intake. I won’t say “diet”, since I’m not on a weight loss “diet” in the traditional sense (been there, done that!), but I am on a nutritional journey to find food and drinks that can fuel my active, on-the-go lifestyle. I do everything from running to yoga to rock climbing to triathlons to walks with my kids and dog. But more than that, I’m busy. I’m a working mom with a pretty packed schedule, and I’m go-go-go all day long. I need to grab something quick, and unfortunately grab-and-go foods aren’t typically great protein sources. Recently, I had the opportunity to try Premier Protein Clear, and it’s been a great tool to fueling up with protein while juggling the rest of my life.

I’m finding that it’s a handy drink for several key moments in my busy days. I’ve grabbed a Premier Protein Clear at work during my afternoon slump when I would normally have another cup of coffee. Instead, I gave myself a protein boost! I don’t always hydrate enough at the office, so it’s been a great way to get a refreshing liquid hydration with a protein boost.

I’ve grabbed a Premier Protein Clear as I dash out the door in the morning for an hour-long commute where I have to hit the ground running upon arrival, working behind-the-scenes in the performing arts.

It’s a nice refreshing drink to sip on the way to work, replacing my travel coffee mug with something that packs a better nutritional punch. And honestly I get tired of water in the car so it’s great to have this option!

It’s hard to find protein sources that aren’t loaded with calories or fat, and I like the “clear” aspect of Premier Protein Clear because so often I just want a refreshing drink, and not something heavy or thick. It does have a sweet taste, but it’s not loaded with sugar. It has 20 grams of protein, only 90 calories, and 0 grams of sugar. The protein source is from whey, so it does have a milk allergy warning if that affects you.

My kids found it pretty tasty too, and I’m getting ideas about how to fit in their daily protein by using Premier Protein Clear. It seems like a better choice than many sugary juices or sports drinks.

You can buy the Tropical Punch Premier Protein Clear at Sam’s Club in a 12-pack, or have it shipped.

Do you get enough protein in your daily food intake? What are your strategies for getting in more protein?
