We are opening two more locations in 2018!

These new locations will allow us to expand the accessibility of Climbing throughout Chicago and Chicagoland, furthering our mission to serve and grow Chicago’s vibrant climbing community. We can’t wait to climb with you in the the Loop of Chicago and Arlington Heights. Read more about these two new locations below, and let’s climb Chicago!

Coming Quarter 1 of 2018

First Ascent Block 37 brings 9,000 square feet of bouldering terrain to the heart of Chicago’s Loop, along with a full schedule of yoga and fitness classes, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, and flexible workspace so you can work from your new home.

As Chicago climbers, we can’t be more excited to open a location in the Loop, the center of the city we live and work in. With panoramic views of the city skyline and easy access to restaurants, entertainment, and public transit, First Ascent Block 37 will provide an urban climbing experience like no other.

Coming Fall 2018

First Ascent Arlington Heights will be our biggest facility yet, with 28,000 square feet of climbing surface up to 55 ft tall, a huge variety of yoga, fitness, and youth programming, and plenty of work out and hang out space. 

We are very excited to open a location that serves the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago with convenient access via car and the Metra. We are also excited to be a part of the larger Arlington Downs development that is bringing new retail and entertainment offerings to Arlington Heights.
