Hit your nutritional goal

You have probably heard already that eating is the most important part of your training. But, it’s also the most complex part with all the low Carbs, fast carbs, proteins, nutriments, supplements… So I thought that giving you an example of what I eat on a normal day could be useful.
I used an app called "Samsung Health" to tack throughout the day every Food going into my body. There is a vast choice of food tracking app on the market but I chose this one as it was pre-installed on my device. It takes a bit of time to manually find the food you just have eaten but the app is very rich and intuitive so you get use to it.
I’m 174cm tall, weight 69kg and train 4-5 times a week so the app calculated that my daily calorie intake should be around 2,600cal. Basically, if I eat less I lose weight and if I eat more I gain weight. 2,600cal per day is achievable but it’s not easy. I have to make sure I’m not skipping any meal, that I eat between meals but I still usually need a protein shake with added carbs to reach my goal.
I’ve added below some screenshots of the app so you can see what my diet looks like (I obviously picked my best day).
Tracking your food everyday might not be very convenient but once in a while to sense check your diet can be a good idea. One of the learning for me is that I was lacking of Calcium. I’m trying to incorporate more food rich in calcium in my plan but I'm also taking some calcium supplements for the time being.
