The Vitamix 5300 blender also has so many improvements over the older 5200 model. It has a more powerful motor, has now been designed to fit under kitchen cabinets (no need to put it away in a cupboard when not in use), and now has a pulse function. To be honest, the Vitamix 5200 probably should have had a pulse function because, well, pretty much every blender has a pulse function.
We will talk about the blender specifics in a moment, but before we do, I just wanted to say how much I like this odd looking blender. I like it a lot!

The first thing that comes to mind is its looks! Some people really like the way it looks, but I am just not a fan. I guess I’ll have to get used to it because I just love the way it performs.
Another thing is the cost. The cost will put the Vitamix 5300 blender out of reach for many buyers, but for those who can afford it (and those who can’t but still get it anyway), you will absolutely love this thing!
What I Liked About The Vitamix 5300 Blender
There is so much to like about the Vitamix 5300 blender. I honestly think that this is quite possibly the best blender available on the market today.
Firstly, it is built like a tank. This thing is very strong! And it’s powerful (2.3 HP). No need to peel things or even cut them. Just wash and chuck everything in the blender and let it do its magic. You save soo much time! You can also make and heat up soup with the Vitamix 5300. Simply leave it running a little while and you will have creamy and hot soup! No need for extra cooking. Since you get a massive capacity 2L / 64 ounce mixer container, you can make a lot of soup or smoothies for the family. It’s also powerful enough to make nut butter and nut milk if you are into that sort of thing!
The Vitamix 5300 is a huge improvement over the older Vitamix 5200. It now has pulse function and I think it is the best Vitamix Blender available. Awesome that it’s made in the USA too!
