Recently, the Infinix Hot S3X was launched. This is a Smartphone owned by China’s Transsion Holdings.
Also known as the successor of HOT S3, HOT S3X was launched earlier this year. It features a bigger Screen of size 6.2- inch, a selfie Camera and a dual rear camera with Artificial Intelligent (AI) enhancements.

Design
Just like the Infinix Note 5, the Hot S3X is also covered by a plastic build of glossy finish. The company has focussed a lot on the design elements and it cannot be denied that this smartphone is very different from any other budget smartphone. The Hot S3X polycarbonate frame also has attractive glossy design which also feels premium.
On the front of this device, there is a notch-based screen that is able to stretch from edge-to-edge leaving insignificant bezels, except for a thick one on the bottom chin.
Other good feature of the Hot S3X is the 3.5mm headphone jack positioned on the top and speaker, while on the bottom of the phone, there is a microphone and micro-USB port. Its power buttons and the volume rocker are all on the right side while on the left side of the chassis is the dual SIM card slot.
In other words, the chassis of the Hot S3X is well equipped.
Display
With a notch on the top that accommodates ear piece, front camera, sensor and LED notification light, the Hot S3X also features a 6.2-inch of all 19.9 aspect ratio. Its screen has HD+ (720 x 1500 pixels) resolution. By the look, this screen is pixelated as it falls short of covering the unusable screen area. Apart from the above display aspects, this gadget has a bright, clear and vibrant screen. When compared with other smartphones in the same segment, kit has a small notch which cannot be disabled.
The screen is large enough hence making it a good proposition for a multimedia fans who like multitasking. Apart from its satisfactory sunlight legibility, the Hot S3X also renders good colours.
Performance
Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 system-o-chip (SoC), the Hot S3X is mated with 32GB of internal storage and 3GB of RAM.
As explained by the company, this smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based Infinix’s custom overlay XOS 3.3 Lite user interface.
Its utility is best limited to daily operation than performing processor intensive tasks. This is so due to its entry-level processor. Though this phone functions without anomaly, some users have raised complains when it comes to handling multitasking.
With a 4,000mAh battery, the HD+ and power efficient processor of the Hot S3X makes its battery last longer. On a single charge, the phone can go on for more than a day.
Camera
As stated before, on the back of the Hot S3X there is a dual camera module which features a 13-magapixel primary sensor which is also mated with a 2MP depth lens. There is also a 16MP selfie camera on the front. The front camera is very capable of taking satisfactory photos which you can use on your social media. The beauty mode of the camera is backed by artificial intelligent capabilities which corrects any imperfection in the frame such as skin tone, marks, etc.
