Motivation And Getting Pumped To Work Your Business

Hello everyone! I hope all my readers are having a great start to their weekend and are pumped about the opportunities ahead. This post is not only going to hopefully motivate you, but show you what different aspects of your Business actually relate to your real life. Now, I am not a huge follower of reality shows and a lot of the hoopla that the television is full of this day in age. But, I do in fact enjoy an episode or two of American Idol when it is on. Call it what you want, but I love the fact that people of all different ages go out and perform to their best abilities and compete for the top spot.

Jacob Lusk American Idol Performance <————— WATCH HERE!

During the last season there was an individual that I particularly took interest in and his name is Jacob Lusk. I would watch intently every time he took to the stage and proclaimed him as my favorite. When Jacob was performing his set, everyone in the house knew they had to be quiet. I became so interested that I began thinking I was a judge on the panel. Crazy I know, but that’s just how it was. Amidst all of Lusk’s performances I noticed one key ingredient that he never took the stage without. Passion. Every single time he sang a song, even though he may not have sounded the best to the judges, he left it all out there. There were many times that after a performance that I would sit for two to three minutes just thinking to myself, “wow.” During this brief video clip of him performing a song, Lusk hit a note that sounded, well not too good. And you can see Jennifer Lopez’s face just sink when it happened. But, that wasn’t the kicker.

You see the kicker to me is that he kept on going. Whether he knew it or not, he found himself and finished the song very strong and wasn’t caught off track. At the end of the song, you can see how out of breath and how emotional the Finish was. Now this can be a lesson learned when you are working your business. You are going to hit highs and you will definitely hit lows. You may think everyone you talk to about your business tells you no. This is just like Lusk when he hit that rough note in the middle. The difference between you and the competition is the ability to bounce back and not let a single, “no,” get you down. Pick the pace back up and finish the song you are writing and singing strong. Leave your audience stunned at the end with a big finish. Much like I was when watching Jacob Lusk last season during American Idol. Let this sink in and hopefully all your negatives will be turned into positives heading into this weekend and furthermore.

To Your Success,

Brian Gray
