Over the weekend I did a 2-day course in Singapore with some investment bankers and private traders. At the end of day 1, we were asked to do some Homework on some of the content we had learned. The following morning I was not expecting to be grilled on my homework but that’s exactly what happened. Each attendee had to deliver their homework to the room and make a case for a trade they were going to take. Needless to say, it was a little daunting for me. But what it taught me was the level of study a professional investment banker undertakes before opening a trade. It is at an entirely different level.

You can never expect to succeed if you only put in the work on the days you feel like it.
