Nepal is now on its way to create a free Wifi zone at the Base camp of Mount Everest and it will be set at the height of 5,360 metres (17,600 feet), making this the highest location at which free WiFi services will be available.

This move will help facilitate communications from the world's highest mountain rising up-to 29,029 feet at its prominence. It will aid rescue efforts in the event of any contingencies at or near the mountain area.
