Essay (General)

Abstract

This term paper takes an in-depth look at terrorism and its root causes. From psychological aspect terrorism is way of destabilizing strong individuals by weaker ones to gain control. Terrorism is not something new and it has been practiced over several centuries. The author of the academic paper discusses the current situation of terrorism in light of 9/11 attacks on the world trade center and what possible measures can be taken by the concerned authorities to prevent terrorism further.

From the Paper

The word ‘terrorism’ is defined as forced use of threat to bring political change in place or a country (Jenkins, 2010). In the modern world terrorism is something that even a child studying in elementary school can easily define as we see bloodshed, violence and bomb blasts nearly everywhere in the world. These brainwashed people causing terrorism have no value for a human life as all they care about is the control over others through using power and threat. This world is no more a peaceful place to live happily where one can feel secure in his/her own being.
