Immersing yourself after Hiragana.

After being driven enough to write Hiragana on a sheet I suggest an app to test and consolidate those alphabets.

Hiragana Pro by Gerson Luca.

Yeah, the app has in-app purchases for unlocking probably the entire test but the free version should do. After that go straight on to Immersing yourself into the language. There are tons of free apps on the Android Play Store to pave your way into immersing yourself gently into the language. In today’s blog post I’d like to talk about an amazing app I came across while scrolling down.

Lingodeer | Learn Japanese, Korean, Chinese for free.

The breathtaking UI and teaching methods are definitely beyond the realm of being perfect. Lingodeer is one app that maintains quality even after being free and probably has the best developing team I’ve seen. The amount of dedication put into building such an app, I wish I had that kind of drive. This app is a must-download and my greatest nightmare would be it having ads or not being free. But nevertheless it is free and a gazillion times better than Duolingo for Japanese beginners like me. (Maybe another post to cover why Duolingo is like frying your brain in oil…) Plus Lingodeer seems to have added a new speaking skills task at the end of its lessons which really helped me in sounding more native, especially when you have nobody around yourself to talk to in Japanese. I definitely give this app a five star rating.
